My work is inspired by this rural landscape in Montgomery County where I live and work. Our 93,000-acre Agricultural Reserve, is a national model for farmland and open space preservation. Sugarloaf Citizens Association (SCA) is a civic association that works to preserve and protect it. I have served on the SCA Board as a volunteer, since 1999. I participate in public policy issues and create art projects that educate the public, about this historic landscape. My Agricultural Reserve Illustrated map is framed in many homes, as a vibrant symbol of this historic landscape. Available for purchase in studio, $20 per map.

Tina created this illustrated map of Montgomery County's Agricultural Reserve, working with a team of advisors illustrated the history of our nationally recognized master plan. This 18” x 24” poster is well known and found in libraries, homes and offices around the region. It is updated in the second edition.

Comus Farm_On my way to Sugarloaf

There is a view I love, passing this Comus Farm on my way to everywhere. Knowing when the seasons change, I will see the mountain, the clouds and the fields in different colors and forms. Living and working in the agricultural reserve is a blessing.
